Bid managers are responsible for creating persuasive proposals, otherwise known as bids, on behalf of their organization. They are typically found in engineering or construction but may work in a range of industries, serving as part of a team or as independent contractors.

When interviewing bid managers, look for candidates who are driven, tenacious, and able to work with a wide range of professionals. Avoid candidates who lack innovation, demonstrate poor communication skills, or give up easily.
